A few hours ago, CCP released a second trailer for their upcoming Trinity expansion and I have to say it’s absolutely breathtaking. I knew it looked amazing but I didn’t think it would look this amazing. When seeing the “transformation” from old graphics to new graphics, my mouth literally dropped open and I let out a little “Wow…”. Even when seeing the Minmatar ships, and that’s saying something. 😉

You can find the SD trailer at here, or if you’d prefer to watch the HD version (and why wouldn’t you?) you can find that here.

I seriously cannot wait to play (or even just see) the new Trinity expansion. If all goes to plan, CCP have said that it should be coming next week; if not, I’m sure it’ll be coming soon™.

By the way, CCP, why on earth haven’t we seen a Myrmidon with improved graphics yet? Once I see that, I’ll be a happy man; but I guess I’m going to have to wait until the release. 😦

I realise I’m a couple days late with this, one of the many drawbacks of being busy is that I don’t get to write any entries. So, onto the post.

At the EVE Fan Fest, CCP showed a teaser trailer for the new Trinity upgrade.

You can find the higher quality version at Stage6; but if that’s not enough you can find a 16:9, 1920 by 1080 version at EVE Files.

I know I’ve said this a lot to a lot of people over the last few months but I really cannot wait until Trinity is released. It’ll be like an early Christmas for me, except I’ll know exactly what I’m getting and it’ll be awesome anyway. Wow, I must be geekier than I thought if I’m comparing a MMO patch to Christmas… Ah well, . 😉

Thanks go to CrazyKinux for finding the videos (and linking to them on his blog which led to me finding them). 😀

A little something to keep you going until something remotely interesting happens to me.
All I’ve done so far is buy ship equipment and ammo, and fly back to my home system. Nothing very interesting there.

It’s not mine by the way. 😛

I just got an email from about a new interview in their EVE Online section. I’ve only seen the first few minutes so far but there is a great trailer that Arend plays that shows some of the new ship designs (Prophecy, Vexor, Thrasher and a ship I couldn’t make out) against the old designs.

While at the Games Convention in Leipzig, Managing Editor Jon Wood was able to catch up with EVE Online Associate Producer Arend Stuhrmann to talk about the state of EVE Online, and where the game is headed in the near and further future.

You can find the video here.

No update on EVE as of yet as I’m still training skills and haven’t actually done much. Also, no update on the graphics contest. As far as I know, BritishInvader hasn’t entered yet.
